Help & Support
Queer Futures Gloucestershire is here to make sure LGBTQIA+ young people, their families, and the organisations who support them never have to navigate things alone. Our resources are designed to meet people where they are, whether you are exploring your identity, supporting a young person you care about, or working to make your organisation safer and more inclusive.
We have created three dedicated support pathways so you can quickly find what you need.
For Young People
Information, guidance and signposting created with and for LGBTQIA+ young people. This section covers identity, wellbeing, safety, rights and where to find local support. It is here to help you feel seen, supported and connected.

For Parents and Carers
Practical, compassionate guidance for adults supporting LGBTQIA+ young people. Whether you are looking for language, reassurance or ways to show up well, this section offers tools, FAQs and local support options to help you navigate the journey together.

For Organisations and Practitioners
Resources for schools, youth groups, health settings and community organisations. This includes best practice guidance, inclusive language, safeguarding considerations and ways to create affirming environments for LGBTQIA+ young people across Gloucestershire.

We also have a dedicated page that signposts to local and national organisations for further support. Click here for our Links to Local Services.
